Located in the stunning Atacama Desert, Explora provides their guests with an all-inclusive meal plan which is mostly made with local ingredients and includes all beverages as well a large selection of Chilean wines.
The property can arrange over 50 expeditions on horseback, bicycle or foot. Four swimming pools, four hot tubs and a sauna are also featured here.
Explora has an in-house stable with specially trained horses as well as an in-house observatory where guests can explore the night skies from. San Pedro de Atacama is within walking distance and visitors have an exclusive access to the Puritama Hot Springs.

PURITAMA PROGRAM (3 NIGHTS)
considers the minimum stay necessary to explore the highlights of the Atacama desert. We suggest:
Quebrada de Nacimiento (Hiking, 5.5 - 6.5hrs): Panoramic views of the volcanoes, Quebrada Nacimiento, rock walls and riverbed hike
Dunas de la Chula (Horseback rides, 2 hrs): Cordillera de la Sal, panoramic views, rock formations.
TOCO PROGRAM, (4 NIGHTS)
was designed in order to fully experience Atacama, for this 4 nights stay we suggest
Las Cornisas (Horseback-rides, 3 hours):Cordillera de la Sal Cornices, panoramic views, dunes.
Kulamar (Hiking, 4.5 hours): Salt flats, salar de Aguas Calientes, panoramic views, picnic lunch.
LASCAR PROGRAM, (6 NIGHTS)
considers an in depth exploration of the driest desert surroundings, offering different alternatives to our travellers like:
Piedra de la Coca (Biking, 3 hours Cordillera de la Sal, Piedra de la Coca petroglyphs, dry river beds.
Volcan Corona (Mountain ascent, 10 hours): Panoramic views of the volcanic arc of the Andes, lunch in the Altiplano.
Rates include all meals and bar, exploration activities, pick up and drop off from and to airports.
Special rates for youngsters (13 -18 years old) accompanying their parents are subject to availability.
Additional bed for children (4 to 12 years old) sharing their parent’s room. Maximum one extra bed per room.
Children under the age of 3 complimentary when sharing room with their parents.
Rates in USD dollars are tax exempt according to decree D.L 825 art. 12 for guests who are foreigners, not residents of Chile and pay in dollars.
